Join us as an operator in our Timaru Contracting Department

We have an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Timaru contracting department as a skilled operator. In this role, you will be seen as an all-rounder, operating a variety of plant and equipment related to civil and roading works, to help deliver work for our customers safely, on time and to the highest quality standard.

In addition to the above you will:

- Operate plant and machinery to complete all tasks assigned by the foreman/supervisor.
- Carry out general labouring tasks as and when required.
- Complete machinery checks as and when required.
- Monitor plant maintenance, keeping timely and well organised records.

We’re looking for someone with:

- Full Class 2 licence (Class 4 is preferable)
- WTR endorsements
- Industry experience is preferred but not essential
- Flexibility to perform various daily tasks and grow with the team
- A proactive approach to health and safety - it’s our #1 priority
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and upskill
