**Customer Service & Lotto Manager**

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with a positive attitude to lead and develop a team in a department focused on outstanding customer service in a high paced retail working environment. We are seeking a friendly, bright and bubbly person who can assist and manage our Checkout Team and lead by example. You will be a part of an enthusiastic and motivated team.

The successful applicant will need to have experience in the retail industry, and have a strong customer focus, preferably having worked in a supermarket environment. Experience in managing people would be an advantage, with full training provided in our systems and processes.

**This position is accountable for**:

- Maintaining the efficient operation of the Checkout and associated areas
- Working with other department managers to ensure the effective operation of the overall store
- Overseeing daily Lotto operations
- Responsible for the sale of liquor
- Ownership of compliance for our Health and Safety and Food Safety programs
- Responsible for either the opening or closing of the store on a rostered basis
- Assisting with rostering of the retail staff

- A passion for quality customer service and innovation
- An excellent work ethic and a high level of personal accountability
- Outstanding problem solving ability with a positive can-do attitude
- Flexibility to cover shifts as required

**A General Manager’s Licence (or the ability to get one) is also a requirement for this role.**

**This is a permanent full time position, working days are Tuesday to Saturday.**
