The Role

As an Ambassador Representative, you'll play a vital role in making every visitor feel welcome, informed, and inspired. Your mission includes:

Delivering outstanding hospitality (manaakitanga) and exceeding customer expectations.

Sharing your expert knowledge of our products, services, and the local area to create unforgettable experiences.

Assisting visitors with queries, ensuring their safety, and providing helpful local information.

Supporting the Customer Service team to meet performance goals, with a focus on health and safety.

Playing an active role in ensuring the health and safety of our manuhiri (visitors), including guiding traffic to ensure safe parking and flow.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who:

Is passionate about showcasing the hidden gems of the Waitomo area.

Brings strong customer service skills and thrives on delivering memorable experiences.

Has a positive, outgoing personality and excellent communication skills.

Is detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage time effectively.

Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Need

  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service (tourism experience is a bonus).
  • Flexibility to work on a 7-day rotating roster.
  • A strong work ethic, resilience, and the ability to work unsupervised.
  • A genuine commitment to health and safety practices.
