**What will you be doing?**

This role will give you a solid grounding in healthcare technology, as you work with a highly skilled and supportive team to develop new features, enhancements, bug fixes and support. You will be working on products where performance, security and privacy are of the highest concern.

Everyday there will be opportunities to learn something new or develop your existing skills working within this talented team who are dedicated to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing. Once a month we dedicate a day where you have the opportunity to work on new innovations and technology outside of your day to day.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will:

- Develop robust, high quality, fit-for-purpose software that delivers value for our customers.
- Take ownership of technical designs and solutions.
- Be a technical leader within the team - contributing to key technical decisions.
- Mentor and coach others in the team and encourage a collaborative workspace for your peers to excel.
- Production debugging, diagnosing and support.
- Share your ideas with some really smart people in a team-oriented culture that consistently grows, develops and shares knowledge.

**What will you bring to the role?**
- **Experience**:As a Senior Java Web Application Developer with 6+ years of experience, you have strong knowledge of software design and development. You are able to understand requirements and validate whether a proposed solution will solve the customer's problem. You have proven ability to communicate concepts and designs to other members of the team and have coached and mentored junior software engineers along the way.
- **Characteristics**:You have the ability to understand and solve complex problems, you like to get stuck in, and have a positive, open-minded and energetic attitude. You have an eye for detail, enjoy understanding how things work under the hood, excellent communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative, professional work environment. You are self-motivated and like to take ownership of your work with an emphasis on quality and delivery.
