**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to be involved in all phases of software development, from initial concepts, specification development, coding, validation, and software release to ensure the maintenance and continual enhancement of the Teletrac Navman platforms, business support tools, or other projects.

Responsibilities will include:

- Assume technical responsibility for all stages of the software development process
- Assist with analyzing requirements for new products, including liaising directly with end users and product management
- Promote and drive a passionate customer-driven culture by ensuring a strong focus on delivery, execution and the customer

To be successful in this role, you will be equipped with:

- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering or equivalent relevant technical discipline and/or equivalent experience.
- At least 7+ years of experience in software development using Java.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies in a DevOps environment.
- Knowledge in designing and implementing microservices architecture and using message queue engines or streaming platforms (e.g. RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka, Kinesis, etc).
- Knowledge in location services, GIS, or geospatial industries would be advantageous but not essential.
- Experience with relational database design and performance optimization.
