**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.

We have the opportunity available to join the Central region, Strategy and Operations team as the **Business Operations Lead**. This permanent, full-time role will see you leading business operations, including supporting:

- Effective financial management and integrity of accounting, budgeting, financial report and forecasting for the region;
- On-boarding, HR and payroll processes;
- Risk identification and management

The role will also provide operational support to the Manager People and Operations and lead the collaboration of administrators.

You will have strong operation and financial management, or co-ordination, experience and will be able to deliver successfully on projects. You will also have ability, to build effective relationships with stakeholders to build a sound understanding of their operational environment and context.

- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Experience in operational and financial management of an organisation
- Experience in project delivery
- Experience developing and delivering operational and business frameworks, systems, policies, and protocols.
