Chief Digital Officer

We are seeking a Chief Digital Officer (CDO) to provide vision and leadership, while creating value through the smart use of digital tools, platforms, technologies, data, products, services and processes. All of which you will use to shape, influence and collaborate across the business to drive impact.

The CDO, forming part of our Senior Leadership Team, leads our Platform, Product and Solutions teams by providing expert leadership, knowledge and support. You will be tasked to transform, optimise and operate the Silverstripe Digital Business Platform, while delivering profitable recurring revenue Managed Services, and meeting with clients to drive new business growth.

Ideally you will be based in Wellington or Auckland, though we do offer flexible and remote working options. Occasional domestic travel may be required.

**Requirements**:
**In more detail, you will**:

- Build a digital business platform with a client centric managed services operating model, based on best practices and standards
- Own the P&L for the Platform, Product, Solutions and Operations, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth of the business unit
- Ensure that Silverstripe leverages data to effectively manage the business and also drive new value through new services for our clients
- Align Silverstripe’s technical resources to meet the short and long-term business needs
- Be the executive owner for all internal and external technology systems; Silverstripe CMS Product; and Platform
- Act as sponsor lead for Silverstripe’s data warehouse, data and analytics strategy and architecture.

**What skills and experience are we looking for?**
- Solid people leadership skills, with the ability to be empathetic and take people on a journey of change
- Experienced in Software Development, Cloud Strategy, Architecture, Automation and Operations
- Knowledge of Digital business platforms, Managed Services, Digital technologies and transformation, Information security and risk management, AWS, Data warehouse
- Extensive client facing experience leading Digital Transformation
- P&L Management, specifically for complex Technology businesses. Deep understanding of recurring revenue business models.
