**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver a prompt, courteous, and professional reception service.
- Handle patient and general inquiries with efficiency and diplomacy.
- Manage telephone inquiries with a customer-focused approach.
- Maintain and update patient information accurately using the Patient Management System (SI Piccs).
- Perform cashiering duties, including cash receipting, petty cash reconciliation, and banking, adhering to Health NZ - s policies.
- Complete administrative tasks such as data entry for admissions/discharges, room bookings, and event support.
- Support emergency procedures and assist with specimen or sample transportation arrangements.
- Ensure the reception area is always tidy and reflective of Health NZ - s professional image.

**About you**

**Skills and Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Previous experience in reception and customer service roles.
- Proven cash handling and data entry skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of customer service with a positive and professional demeanor.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain calm under pressure.

**Desirable**:

- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
