We are seeking Enrolled Nurses who would like to join the Nursing team at Burwood Hospital. There are multiple opportunities available for permanent full time, part time, fixed term and casual.

On offer is a wide range of clinical environments to keep you interested whether you prefer the variety of working on the nursing pool or the stability of a permanent placement within a ward, we have the right options for you.

We have roles available with the following teams:

- Ward CG - Under 65 - Rehabilitation ward - permanent position
- Ward HG - Spinal Unit - permanent position
- Ward B1 - Medical surgical rehab/sub-acute care
- Nursing Pool

**Ko wai koe | About You**

To be successful in this role you will be a Enrolled Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate.

Your passion and love for your career will be one of your biggest selling points along with your compassion, dedication and fundamental drive to excel in the level of care you provide each and every person. As the role of a nurse can be quite demanding your ability to work under pressure will be desirable but in return for your hard work you will be rewarded with supportive leadership and the opportunity to learn from our multidisciplinary team as you work closely alongside other healthcare professionals.

We encourage professional development and will work closely with you to achieve any academic milestones, in-house courses, and specialised training options to suit your goals as desired.

- Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand, with current APC
- Be a confident practitioner with good patient assessment skills
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a wide variety of people
- Knowledge of and a commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi

Burwood Hospital is a close-knit, friendly facility that forms part of Te Whatu Ora - Waitaha [Canterbury] situated near Burwood Forest on the outskirts of Christchurch Central. Along with 11 inpatient wards, we also have a busy Out Patient Department; 4 theatres with an Admitting Unit and PACU. Our Spinal Unit is one of two located in New Zealand and between the two busy units deliver a National Service.
