**About the role**

This role is responsible for helping accountants and bookkeepers (“Partners”) that are making a change to use Xero’s cloud based practice tools. You will project manage Xero implementation and migration projects, and deliver Xero education workshops and webinars to accountants who use Xero, and accountants who are thinking about using Xero. If you have a passion for client relationships, this is the ideal opportunity to work closely with clients to help them execute an online growth strategy for their business.

The typical day for a Partner Consultant is quite varied. Our role is to support Xero accounting and bookkeeping partners. This might be through providing a practice with training on an area of Xero, discovering information about the practice and answering questions to help them make a decision on what is the best Xero solution for their practice, running webinars, or project managing Xero implementation and migration projects. We work closely with the Xero Account Managers and accountants and bookkeepers who are using Xero, or who are thinking about making the switch to Xero for their practice.

As the product experts in the go to market team, we also collaborate with other teams regularly, and offer advice on what our Xero partners want to see from the product.

**What you’ll do**:

- Demonstrate Xero and Xero Practice solutions in a pre-sales context to Accountants and Bookkeepers.
- Implementation of Xero Practice Tools for Accountants and Bookkeepers,
- Work closely with the territory Sales team to deliver business plans for Partners and sales plans for the territory.
- Engage in regular meetings with the relevant territory sales staff to agree on sales and project priorities Educate partners on all partner resources available.
- Manage the creation of resources (processes/videos) for frequently asked questions from Partners.

**What you’ll bring with you**:

- A passion for SaaS and the online accounting market.
- Knowledge of the workings of an accounting practice and related systems.
- Experience using Xero Practice Manager, Xero Tax, Xero Workpapers and Xero Reporting desirable.
- Training experience and accounting software knowledge.
- Experience with financial reporting, tax returns and compliance work is required.
