**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced **HSE Coordinator** to join our team based in Highbrook.

We are looking for someone who can enhance the HSE culture of the organisation by providing support to the Operations Excellence and H&S Managers in an enthusiastic and professional manner.
**Main Responsibilities include**:

- Assist with the maintenance of documentation and record keeping, ensuring all Health and Safety legislative requirements are met.
- Ensure all company HSE administration and internal reporting requirements are adhered to.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of safety strategies based on trend analysis and in response incident and hazard investigation outcomes
- Support thorough incident investigations that identify root causes and/or latent failures and provide recommendations to prevent re-occurrence.
- Assist with the management of ACC claims, light duties, back to work and employee rehabilitation in conjunction with HR.
- Support HSE training and client audits when required
- Participate in site walk around and site observations to promote site safety on a regular basis.
- Assist with planning and implementation of Health and Safety activities such as H&S meetings, World Safety Day activities, and wellness initiatives.
- Assist with contractor management particularly during construction or refurbishment projects.
- Able to analyse data and present compelling arguments.
**Key Requirements**:

- Confident administration skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A mature approach, discretion, and sound judgement
Ability to develop and deliver training materials relating to Health and Safety in the workplace
- 1-2 years in HSE role in a medium to large organisation
- Good verbal and written English
