As a **Maintenance Fitter**, you will be based in **Auckland, New Zealand**, and report to the Engineering Manager. You will perform scheduled routine maintenance/inspections of plant and equipment across the site and perform routine tasks to ensure the plant's compliance and reliability. You will also undertake repairs, and minor modifications, and be involved in "continuous improvement" projects. **Responsibilities** - Examining faulty machinery and equipment for defects. - Dismantling equipment, cleaning or replacing damaged or worn parts. - Assembling parts, tooling to ensure an accurate fit, testing reassembled equipment, and readjusting if necessary. - Carrying out preventative maintenance within the scheduled time. - Maintain 5S standards in the workshop. - Carrying out minor modifications to machinery. - Adherence to the Code of Ethics and all PPG policies and procedures. - Perform cleaning, painting, and other routine tasks as allocated by the Engineering Manager. - Ensure materials and tools are adequately stored and all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all work on plant and machinery. - Achieve zero recordable injuries by ensuring all staff follow health and safety guidelines and participate in regular safety programs. - Ensure adherence to EH&S policy and procedures. - Attend EH&S training as required. **Qualifications** - Minimum 2 or more years of experience in plant inspection and maintenance. - Good experience in welding, mechanical fault finding, and repairs. - Experience in repairing and servicing diaphragm pumps.
