Join a mining company with a rich history in a historic mining town.

Working as part of the Mill Maintenance crew, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of fixed plant equipment across the processing facility. You'll take ownership of both scheduled and breakdown maintenance tasks, ensuring that all plant and machinery operates reliably to meet production targets.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced mining environment, can troubleshoot on the fly, and enjoys the technical challenges that come with underground and remote processing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance across mill and surface processing equipment
  • Work on critical assets including crushers, conveyors, pumps, screens, flotation circuits, thickeners, mills and associated plant
  • Perform diagnostics and fault-finding to minimise downtime and improve plant reliability
  • Collaborate with operators, planners and maintenance supervisors to ensure safe and effective task execution
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow site work management systems (SAP, Pronto or similar)
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with site safety standards, permits and isolation procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Trade Qualification – Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner
  • Experience in metals processing, mineral concentrators, or heavy fixed plant maintenance. (required)
  • Ability to relocate to Australia.
  • Strong fault-finding skills and hands-on mechanical ability
  • Exposure to milling, crushing, dewatering, flotation or similar environments
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a high-performing maintenance team
  • A strong commitment to safety and proactive risk management
