**Job Title: Maintenance Fitter**

**Location**: Auckland, New Zealand

**Reports To**: director

Salary range: 33-36 per hour

Full-time,30-50h per week

Driver licence required.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily pre-operation checks on cement trucks and related equipment to ensure proper functioning and readiness for use.
- Conduct routine maintenance, including inspecting, lubricating, and repairing mechanical components using metal tools, oil, and other maintenance materials.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues to prevent unnecessary wear and tear on equipment.
- Respond quickly to any mechanical breakdowns or failures, diagnosing and fixing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work conducted on vehicles and machinery.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures while performing maintenance work.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- No qualification required.
- At least 3 years relavent work experience in mechanical maintenance.
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems, with experience in repairing and maintaining cement trucks being highly desirable.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical equipment effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a focus on ensuring mínimal downtime.
- Valid driver’s license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour
