**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

This role will be responsible for manual and automated test case development, execution and management with a goal to reducing manual execution and improve automated test coverage of new and existing functionality. Work side-by-side with Developers, QA Engineers and Product Owners to ensure clarity of test coverage and the value automation brings to overall product quality; striving to ensure that solutions being developed and delivered are as per agreed quality and timeframes.

**ABOUT YOU**

- Degree in a related engineering field (or equivalent)
- At least 3+ years’ experience in automating software/firmware and hardware tests
- Proficient in Python is essential, C# or other OOP languages are advantage
- Familiar with bench and field-based GPS & mobile communications testing
- Strong programming and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to work to a schedule and the confident to highlight any potential problem areas
- Familiarity with JIRA, Bitbucket, Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and TestRail
- A history working within Scrum teams following Agile methodology
- Familiar with OBD, J-Bus and CAN technologies is a benefit
