**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare, cook, and present meals in line with the restaurant’s menu and standards.
- Maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage food storage efficiently to minimise waste.
- Work closely with the Head Chef/Restaurant Manager to develop and improve menu offerings.
- Ensure portion control and consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of food served.
- Train, guide, and supervise junior kitchen staff when required.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including safe food handling practices and workplace safety requirements.
- Manage cooking schedules to ensure meals are prepared and served promptly.

**Skills and Experience Required**
- Minimum one year of relevant experience as a Cook; or a Level 4 qualification
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards
- Ability to prepare a variety of dishes, with excellent cooking and presentation skills
- Good time management and organisational skills in a busy kitchen environment
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team
- Flexible to work rostered shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- Reliable, responsible, and passionate about food and customer satisfaction
