We are looking for 2 full-time Cooks to join us. The ideal candidate must have the followings: At least 2 years relevant experience or a level 4 or above relevant qualification. Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime. Full commitment is required. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and cook food accordingly Season food by using western cuisine cooking techniques Portion food, placing on plates and adding gravies and sauces. Ensure quality of food are always delivered at the highest standard and present to customers in a timely manner Assist chefs by checking food stocks and place order with suppliers. Teach and supervise kitchen junior staffs the cooking procedures by using your cooking knowledge and experience if needed. Assist chefs for planning menu and create recipes. Working with other cooks to discuss food preparation issues. Prepare dietary food to meet the customer’s special needs. Keep kitchen tidy and clean to meet health and hygiene regulations Manage frozen and fresh food In return Penfold Investment Limited will offer: A stable position in Te Aroha, Waikato. Supportive and friendly team environment. Competitive hourly rates are from $27 to $30 per hour. Working hours 30 - 40 per week.
