Cafe Chef

Just 10 minutes from Cambridge and located on NZ's largest organic blueberry orchard, a fully licensed country café, offering a delicious all day menu, organic hot and cold drinks, a variety of organic blueberry products and an experience to remember.

Cafe Irresistiblue is looking for an EXPERIENCED CHEF to work full time hours)

You must have at least 2 years experience as a chef in a similar environment; preferably hold a Level 4 NZ certificate in cookery or above; be competent on short order, a la carte and buffet style cooking, and baking; be reliable and dependable; hard working and able to produce great food in a timely manner; and love cooking and pleasing guests. You must also be experienced, confident and skilled enough to work alone on some days, assist in the creation and costing of menus, and take ownership and pride in the food you create taking joint ownership with other team members to facilitate the smooth running of the kitchen, FCP and FOH.

Hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm (approx), including weekend days (as these are our busiest), and some evening functions.
