We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer to join our Data & Analytics group. Reporting to our Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of ESR's enterprise data warehouse to support analysis and reporting for both internal and external customers.
You will also support our systems integration, moving to a cloud data infrastructure whilst working in close collaboration with security, infrastructure, data science and other business users to deliver effective business outcomes.

**In this role, you'll be involved in**:

- Assisting in the design and development of physical data architecture.
- Assisting and contributing to the conceptual, logical, and functional architecture of the data delivery capability of ESR.
- Maintain the data governance and management configurations to ensure secure storage and access (including creation and maintenance of network policies, role-based access control, governance policies and integration with enterprise identity provider).

**To be successful in this role, you will have the following**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Communication Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science
- Previous experience developing data warehousing solutions and artefacts and a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with cloud data solutions which may include Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Redshift, Fivetran, etc).
- Significant experience in dimensional data modelling and data transformation.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlik, SAP Business Objects, Power BI and programming languages such as in SQL, Python, or other related languages.
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle, including the design, build and test methodologies, techniques and processes.
