OJI Fibre Solutions is one of New Zealand's leading manufacturers and suppliers of packaging solutions to a wide range of industries throughout the country. Our customers include blue chip manufacturers and marketers of packaging products to the food, primary produce, industrial and grocery sectors.

This newly created role is a unique opportunity for an experienced Training Lead to make a real impact. Reporting to the Facility Manager, this role will be responsible for building from the ground up a training framework that covers all areas of our manufacturing environment onsite. This includes:

- Researching & benchmarking best practice training in global manufacturing companies
- Capturing and sharing best practice knowledge across the wider team
- Developing an in-depth understanding of Oji Fibre Solutions manufacturing process onsite
- Creating comprehensive technical documentation, with content that is concise and engaging.
- Developing & maintaining the training framework
- Scheduling & delivering structured training programs, in group and individual settings, that meet the requirements of the team.
- Adhering to project timelines and plans
- Working closely with Shift Managers, ensuring staff involvement at all stages of documentation development and training execution
- Managing and maintaining training records, general reporting and administration

To be considered for this role you must possess:

- 3+ years minimum in a similar role within a packaging or manufacturing/industrial environment
- Experience with competency-based training programs
- Experience using VKS (work instruction software) system advantageous.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Goal & action orientated with excellent time management skills & the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Highly systems focused with great attention to detail.
- Computer literate (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Tertiary Qualifications or related Degree advantageous but not essential
