**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
In this role you will be responsible for the development and implementation of Network and Disruption communication plans to ensure customers can confidently navigate the transport network and be informed of changes or disruptions.
This role is a critical part of the Auckland Transport Operations Centre, planning and delivering the communications response to incidents and emergencies in real time. As part of the wider Network and Disruptions Communication team, you will work to ensure AT and NZTA maintain a high standard of consistent, external communications about the transport network.
**Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?**
- 5 years' experience in communications and/or engagement roles or 5 years in a similar field such as journalism or marketing.
- Experience with writing and delivering communications and engagement plans.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, journalism or business.
- Demonstrated knowledge of, or a willingness to gain, an understanding of Te Ao Māori
- Coordinated Incident Management System (CIMS) trained (desirable)
