Ready to shape learning experiences that inspire, engage, and drive real impact? Join DOC and help us reimagine how learning happens across our organisation, delivering dynamic, human-centred learning solutions that meet the needs of today's workforce.

This position will have a particular focus on creating and editing video content as well as print material.

The position will:

- Design modern workplace learning experiences that are innovative, relevant, and outcomes-focused.
- Develop learning material particularly video content, print material and e-learning
Collaborate with other learning designers across the country to create new learning pathways for DOC staff.

Over the term you'll participate in a few field trips across the country involving content such as lizard conservation and bird handling, creating engaging learning resources for conservation.

If you have some of following, we are keen to hear from you:

- 1-3 years' experience designing and developing learning for adult learners or be willing to learn these tools
- 2-5 years experience in modern videography and graphic design
- Proficiency in videography, and graphic design tools
- A creative eye for graphic design and storytelling - qualification or equivalent experience in visual design a bonus
- A flair for writing, interest in science communication with the ability to present information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences in plain language
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to process complex information
- Confident using digital collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, Planner and Outlook
- A life-long learner and an ability to take on feedback, refine ideas and make things better for the end-user
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships while working remotely

The People and Culture Directorate supports DOC to build and be a great organisation.

Through a range of people systems and strategies we deliver services across the entire employee lifecycle - from attraction, recruitment and onboarding, to training and development of managers and leaders and core conservation skills. Underpinning our approach is a desire to build an enabling culture where all our people can thrive.

The Learning Advice and Design team is a distributed team so you will need to comfortable working in a highly digital environment with some travel.

The salary range for this position is **$80,054.00 - $101,142.00 pro-rata** with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory - this includes holding a valid work visa that covers the whole period of employment.
