Te Au Reka is a large, complex and unique programme spanning the courts and tribunals of New Zealand. In delivering Te Au Reka, we are seeking to build the Ministry's capability to deliver complex programmes of change. **Te Haeata/The Opportunity**

We have three exciting Learning Design Lead opportunities, each responsible for leading a small team of learning designers, focused on specific areas within the Te Au Reka programme.

As a Learning Design Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing innovative, learner-centred pathways and solutions. These solutions will be tailored to diverse learner groups, including the Judiciary, Ministry staff, legal professionals, third-party providers and participants. You and your team will develop learning which equips our learner groups with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the change and engage with our new digital solution.

This role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced project environment. You must be organised, collaborative, and adaptable, with the ability to contribute immediately to the success of this large-scale transformation. If you bring strong experience in learning design and development, with a demonstrated ability to manage design projects, influence stakeholders and drive impactful results, this is the role for you.

**Ō** pūkenga/Skills and Experience**

To be successful in this position, which will be based in our National Office in Wellington, you will have:

- 5+ years of experience in creating blended learning solutions (including online modules, facilitated sessions, videos and other delivery methods), particularly within large-scale transformation or digital initiatives
- expertise in adult learning principles and an up-to-date understanding of best practices, trends, and innovations in learning design and development, with a proven ability to design and develop accessible and engaging learning pathways and solutions that achieve tangible outcomes
- proficiency in using learning authoring tools and software such as Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing and LMS platforms (Totara experience desirable)
- proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
- strong project management experience, including the ability to deliver learning initiatives on time, within budget, and to a high standard in a busy project environment.
- exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organisation.

**Utu ā-tau/**Salary**

The appointing salary for this role will be between $111,766 and $144,388 based on skills and experience.
