**Rau Tipu Rau Ora** (RTRO) Tuara Team were established to provide administration, coordination and engagement support, along with strategic advice and information to the RTRO group (governance, management and operations groups).
RTRO are now on the hunt for a **RTRO Taiao Programme Coordinator** to join their busy team Key responsibilities of the role include leading the implementation of work programmes, fostering relationships with Te Roopu Taiao members and other stakeholders, facilitating meetings and providing specialist support where necessary, contributing to the achievement of positive environmental outcomes across the RTRO framework and, supporting the development of business cases that enables Te Mauri o Te Taiao: (restoring the vitality of our natural environment), one of the RTROs five priorities.
**So, what are the essential experience and skills were looking for'**
- A relevant bachelors degree and/ or at least 3+ years in a nature conservation, environmental policy or iwi/ business sustainability field
- Advanced programme and project management knowledge and skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Natural ability to form and maintain strong working relationships
- Demonstrated experience in minute taking, preparation of meeting agenda and the compilation and production of high-quality meeting packs
- Basic use and comprehension of Te Reo Maori
- Consistently shows great initiative and is naturally solutions focused
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
- A commitment to adding value and passion for continuous improvement
