Facilities Maintenance Specialist

This role takes responsibility for the resolution of maintenance requests which involves assessing the requests, directing them to the appropriate contractor for action and overseeing the jobs through to completion.

This role is also responsible for providing managers with reports on maintenance activities for their respective areas of responsibility and training others in the use of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Sharepoint and asset management tools.

**Other key tasks will include**
- Ongoing management of the knowledge databases containing maintenance activities and resolution processes
- Responsible to communicate and update stakeholders with the status of CMMS development and functionality resolutions when required.
- Continue to build strong working relationships with both internal and external customers to ensure the continued success of the facilities management processes.
- Develop, process and present regular reports to advise the volume of maintenance activities and maintenance risks to senior management and contractors.

**Key skills we are looking for**
- Proven track record of effective qualitative and quantitative judgement and decision making using technical and/or incomplete datasets
- Excellent relationship management experience with technical experts and management underpinned by strong customer service ethos
- Bachelors degree or other relevant experience
- Experience in asset maintenance management
- Experience using complex facilities management systems
