Our Team
Working as a bridge between Automation technologies and customer support teams, Automation Engineers work to take customer requirements and business information to design or re-design, develop, test and implement complex Automation solutions. The Enablement Automation team are committed to Agile delivery with a focus on Automation toolsets and DevOps approach. This role is a great opportunity for a Service Desk Analyst looking for a new challenge or a Wintel engineer looking to expand their knowledge and skillset to join the team.
About the Role
As an Automation Engineer, you will be providing technical support and expertise, testing new solutions, responding to feedback, and actively participating in future technology road mapping as well as maintain & support current solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Provide Technical support and consultancy, as required
- Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives
- Assist in the design and development of new products and tools necessary to make customer accounts comfortable and successful at selling products
- Participate in the development of SRE Function and capability
- Maintain & Improve existing implementations
- Provide technical/product knowledge for sales people, business, and support teams on customer accounts
- Foster a positive, inclusive and safe working environment with a ‘Can do’ attitude
What You Will Bring
We’re looking for an enthusiastic fast learner to join the team and hit the road running. Ideally, you'll have strong Microsoft Active Directory knowledge and basic scripting fundamentals, and Activate knowledge would be a bonus, but we can teach the rest What will we give you? A placement within our Automation Team, with exposure to several different automation and enablement toolsets. This is a great way to get some valuable experience and put you in a great position to take the next step in your career.
