**Job Description**:
**Position Summary**

This role serves as a primary technical contact for Rockwell Automation’s customers. The role is responsible for the delivery of control system projects through planning, design, implementation, testing and commissioning phases and ongoing maintenance and engineering support services that are focused on resolving customer’s technical issues and overall improving customer relationships. The role enjoys a diversity of experience solving technical challenges independently, working in a team and will also be required to work with project managers on delivering assigned projects work on time, budget and scope.

**Role Responsibility**

1. Responsible for effectively providing field services to lead or support project delivery, installation, start-up, maintenance and operational services of automation & process control systems, drive systems, manufacturing systems, industrial networks and the individual products which comprise these systems.

3. Ability to design, implement, test and commission control system projects, effectively drive required customer interface, project planning, project delivery and/or site management.

4. Ability to develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs and provide expert level service to solve advanced problems relating to products, technologies, and industry processes.

5. Aspires to be a domain expert that internal and external stakeholders come to for assistance solving customer / project challenges.

6. Maybe required to lead/collaborate with a delivery team comprising of engineering staff of various levels of experience and responsibility, coach, and mentor junior engineers.

7. Ensure compliance to Ethics, Standards of Business Conduct, Safety, Information Technology and other policies and the relevant government regulations.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- New Zealand Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) registered Engineer / Electrician
- **Minimum 10 years of engineering, project delivery and field experience.**:

- Travel as required to cover assigned Region/Sub-region
- Rights to work in New Zealand
