- Harper Smith has a unique opportunity for an experienced Project Director, based in Tauranga.- With offices throughout New Zealand and a very systematic and professional reputation, this organisation has partnered with long term notable clients including local government to manage regional iconic projects.
- Its is expected you will be comfortable as the Senior most member of the team taking on responsibility to deliver $100m + commercial projects, often complex in nature.
- The role of Project Director is varied and diverse. It will see the successful applicant involved in the business at a strategic operational level. The role will contribute to the company through leadership, management, delegation and mentorship of the team, leading the planning, coordination and project delivery components. Responsibilities also include financial management and performance, people management, client liaison & other external stakeholders. In addition, this role will oversee
Hold a relevant tertiary qualification related to construction. A Project Management qualification is highly advantageous.
- Are highly experienced and a proven effective leader and manager
- Solid Team Management experience
- Significant project delivery experience in a variety of sectors
- Effective negotiation, influencing and facilitation skills
