At CountdownX we are accelerating our ambition to create highly personalised, seamless and connected experiences for our customers. We’re looking for a UX Designer in our Experience Research & Design team here in Aotearoa.

The Chapter is responsible for creating beautifully crafted, engaging and highly functional/usable experiences across multiple channels and platforms, that enhance our customers’ shopping experiences and the way our brand shows up digitally.

As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing innovative and efficient fulfilment experiences that delight our customers and store teams as part of our Dynamic Convenience Tribe at CountdownX. This role is a key part of a cross-functional team to embed design thinking, and involve in the design experiences for our customers and store teams.

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
- Work in close collaboration with Product Owners, cross-functional squads and other UX designers.
- Identify and prioritise design problems and opportunities to deliver value to customers, team and maximise business value.
- Design and run user research from discovery through to design testing and in-life monitoring, and translate findings into the product solution design.
- Communicate the design intent to the product team and wider stakeholders to achieve buy-in for your designs

**About You | Mōu**

To succeed in this role you will have proven technical UX Design capabilities and an ability to foster strong relationships and have a real impact in the team, bringing your strong communication and collaborative abilities. You will see the big picture and partner across multi functions.
- 2 to 5 years UX, product or service design experience.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams and methodologies
- Has contributed to multiple shipped products/experiences of diverse scope, with accountability for defining the approach and delivering the defined outcomes
- Has designed for a multitude of platforms (web, iOS, Android, etc) and cross-channel digital-physical experiences but can be a specialist or broad designer across multiple
- Experience in retail or e-commerce environments is a significant advantage
