Mortgage Adviser

WRIGHT FINANCIAL is a licenced Financial Services Group that offers Advice on Mortgages, Risk Insurance and Investment advice to it's clients all around the Waikato and has many long standing clients who are positioned up and down the country.

We are looking for an experienced Financial Adviser, based in our Te Awamutu Office, to join our growing Mortgage team.

Do you have a passion for helping people achieve their financial goals? Working with clients to obtain lending for home ownership, Investment property, Holiday homes, Refinances and Renovations are some of the ways you will assist our clients to achieve their dreams.

Do you want to be part of a team that has access to more than 30 lenders and a comprehensive advice process, giving you extensive lending solutions and expertise to meet our client's needs.

You will need to be capable of generating your own leads, while having the opportunity to look after existing Wright Financial clients. Happy to discuss renumerations options such as commission only or retainer plus commission structures.

Role Requirements:

• Provide advice to new and existing clients in relation to mortgage advice.
• Attention to detail and a desire to achieve great outcomes for your clients.
• Prepare written reports and research and keep adequate records of your advice and interactions with clients in accordance with Wright Financial's advice process, policies, and procedures.
• Achieve and maintain accreditations with multiple lenders.
• Maintain product and technical knowledge through ongoing professional development.

Who we are looking for:

You will be self motivated, confident and an articulate individual who will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Professionally qualified NZ Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 (version 2) in Residential Property Lending.
• An analytical mind with the ability to follow process, combined with the energy and skills to build rapport and understanding with clients.
• A dynamic and flexible approach to change and the ability to build excellent working relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Be open to ongoing education in legislative and regulatory requirements relating to the provision of Financial Services Advice in the NZ market.
• You will have excellent general computer skill's, savvy with Microsft Suite (Word, Xls, Email and Acrobat PDF)
