Housekeeping Supervisor

Fiordland lodge is located on a rural property in the lower South Island just north of the township of Te Anau. The location offers the right applicant the perfect base to explore the beauty of the area and to venture into the famous Milford and Doubtful sounds. The lodge is also ideally located within minutes of four of New Zealand's 'Great Walks' being the Milford, Kepler, Routeburn and Humpridge tracks.

Fiordland lodge is currently recruiting for a fulltime Housekeeping Supervisor:

This full-time, permanent role is varied, challenging and very rewarding. We require an experienced, keen and well-presented individual with initiative, flexibility and a pro-active approach.

Housekeeping Supervisor

Duties and responsibilities to include:

• Successfully leading the Housekeeping Team to deliver consistent exemplary standards of cleanliness and presentation for all guest rooms and public areas as well as five-star guest service
• Training of new staff
• Day to day management of the Housekeeping Team including problem solving, daily and weekly team meetings and ensuring ongoing team performance and engaging team culture
• Reporting of maintenance issues and liaising with Maintenance and Guest Services Teams to ensure all guests experience five-star standards
• Completion of daily, weekly and monthly cleaning checklists and safety schedules
• Checking timesheets and rosters

Successful applicants for the above position will have 3 years' experience within a Housekeeping Team, in a similar role or alternatively an NZ Register Level 4 qualification. In return, we provide:
