We are currently recruiting a Quality Manager to join the team at Visy Glass in Penrose, Auckland on a full-time permanent basis. This role is responsible for leading the quality control and assurance functions within the factory.

The Quality Manager is accountable for ensuring that all products meet internal, industry, and customer standards, and that quality management processes are effectively implemented throughout the factory.

You will develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage compliance with regulatory standards, and oversee both manual and automated quality systems to optimize production output while maintaining high product standards.

You will showcase your experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment and will have a proven track record in managing and leading quality teams as well as managing internal and external audits, particularly related to ISO standards, GMP, HACCP and regulatory compliance.

This role is primarily day shift based, however it will require some on-call availability due to the 24-7 nature of production and to address urgent quality needs and ensure uninterrupted production, as required.

Your tertiary qualifications in quality management, engineering or manufacturing, as well as your in-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, process control, and continuous improvement tools, will set you up for success in this role.
