Our Opportunity
The role of the Plant Supervisor at Quality Bakers Auckland is an integral member of the Production and Site leadership team with management responsibilities for a high performing Production team and team culture.

**The shift pattern available is**:
Monday - Friday
Day shift, total 9 hours per day
Total 45 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring that Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) are monitored and targets achieved
- Develop and review short to medium term strategies with the Production Manager
- Develop plans to improve plant performance
- Carry out gap analysis and develop strategies
- Deliver high quality finished products by ensuring compliance to all Food Safety Systems are meet
- Ensure fixed cost spend and labour budget spend are delivered
- Do required paperwork
- Do required work in computer systems
- Ensure global waste targets are achieved
- Manage SHE within the workplace
- Lead Shift Production team
- Coach and mentor direct reports

About You
- First Line Management qualification
- 3+ years manufacturing experience
- Exposure to machinery
- 2+ years people management experience
- Exposure to Quality Assurance and Food Safety Systems
- A great attitude towards health and safety
- Ability to drive performance
- Effective communication skills
- SAP and SHE systems experience (desirable)
- Food manufacturing experience (desirable)
- Baking qualification and experience (desirable)
