**The Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team on a permanent basis. You will work on a rotating roster of 2 days, 2 nights and 4 days off. This is an exciting hands on role where you can lead and develop the shift team to assist with the day to day operations which enable our team to meet distribution timeframes. You will have overall responsibility for the key results and outcomes of the shift team.

The main responsibilities of this role include..
- Ensuring the operations shift team have all the tools and skills to process the range of products we have for, putaway, staging, line clearance, picking and distribution
- Effectively plan and organise the team over the shift to ensure good practices, employee safety and product quality are maintained
- Provide coaching to operators to ensure knowledge in all warehouse tasks as well as implementing a solid training plan and performance for each warehouse store person
- Manage team rosters, including leave and ensuring the team is well covered

Key to your success will be your proactive response to building a strong team and your ability to manage the day to day operations within the Warehouse.

**Skills and Experience**

To be considered for this role will require
- Previous knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP systems is preferred
- Previous experience in milk powder plant processes is highly desirable
- Understanding of and experience with standard warehousing practices as well as previous supervisory experience
- Experience using SAP or RF Scanners would be preferred

NCEA Level 1 or equivalent is highly regarded in this role as is previous experience as a Team Leader or experience in a similar role within manufacturing and ideally dairy.
