**The Role**

Our exceptional people see everything as an opportunity and are always striving to make more from milk. We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Process Technician to join our busy team on a permanent basis.

The purpose of this role is to lead the front end of the Wet Mix plants. You will be managing the Wet Mix Ingredients Team and the ingredients handling equipment to maximise performance of the plants. You will be required to be hands on to cover breaks so a balance in your operational duties with your leadership duties is key.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead and motivate the Wet Mix Ingredients team.
- Run the team shift handover meeting and update the Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meeting board data daily.
- Make key decisions for the Ingredients Team to ensure smooth operation of the shift.
- Support company-wide initiative to improve manufacturing and service performance of plant operations.

**Qualification**
- 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably food or dairy).
- Diploma in Dairy Processing or Degree qualification in Science or Food or Dairy Processing is ideal but not a requirement.

**Skills and Experience**
- Experience with QA and QC processes and procedures
- Proven knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP systems
- Experience in, and applied knowledge of, industrial and personal safety behaviours
- Proven leadership experience
