**About you**

You are a proven leader who will hold an Engineering qualification and have experience working within teams to deliver an engineering output. You are an effective communicator to a range of stakeholders, excellent at working collaboratively and actively seek to overcome challenges. You are proven in the use of MS Office and other IT software. If you have worked in a marine environment previously, this would be highly advantageous but not essential.

**About the role**

An exciting opportunity has arisen based in Devonport on the Navy Dockyard to fulfil and embed a new **Senior Production Engineer** role. The role will play a critical role in planning, enabling and safely delivering production.
- Some of your key responsibilities will include:_
- Responsible for subcontractor management across the delivery programme. To include confirming scope, HSE compliance, delivery to schedule and budget, quality control throughout and close out requirements
- Responsible for planning and executing variations to the contracted scope
- Provide expertise and verification of project scope to ensure accurate resources and materials are available
- Identify, develop and implement improvement opportunities within the team and
- encourage the development of change management
