**Senior Maintenance Engineering Technician**:

- Location: Auckland, NZ, 0624- Onsite or Hybrid: HybridSenior Engineering Technician

Reporting to the Maintenance Development Manager, the Senior Maintenance Engineering Technician is expected to investigate, Mechanical System corrective and preventive maintenance tasks administration, record the delivery of maintenance artefacts to the required Product Quality, engage with stakeholders within the maintenance community, and provide technical input into the other elements of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) maintenance program, while further developing experience, knowledge and skills.

This position is a 2 year fixed term position.

**Key responsibilities will include**:
Develop and improve asset maintenance strategies, including task instructions and resource estimates, to enhance maintenance planning efficiency.

Analyze maintenance data and make recommendations for optimizing scheduled maintenance to improve availability and reduce costs.

Support Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities, including maintenance and operating task analysis, technical investigations, and acceptance verification and validation.

Plan, deliver, and monitor tasks to ensure timely, quality, and cost-effective outcomes.

Produce technical documentation, contribute to technical discussions, and provide engineering advice to support operational capability and knowledge transfer.

**About you**

You are experienced in maintenance delivery, along with a solid grasp of relevant ILS and Engineering Toolsets and hold a technical vocational qualification/certificate. Essential skills include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, a positive work ethic, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You should also demonstrate initiative and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Desirable qualifications include previous experience with Maintenance Management Systems (MMS), mentoring skills, and knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
