We pride ourselves on putting our people first - Our people are friendly & inclusive, respectful, fun and approachable. - We're a social bunch with an active social club and regular team events. Ignite Architects embrace the creation of places for people. Places to live, work, and play that enhance quality of life. Renowned for delivering visually inspiring Architecture and Interior Design, for over 30 years Ignite have been designing at an international scale from our six Australasian studios. Ignite deliver unique and memorable experiences for a wide variety of clients; and by placing end-users at the centre of each project, Ignite create designs that entice and engage. To help us bring our vision for Ignite to life, we're searching for an **People and Culture Manager** who can support our growth. **The role** You will play a significant role in helping us achieve our core belief "that good design can improve human outcomes and positively contribute to our collective future." In addition, our **People and Culture Manager** will be vital to uphold Ignite's growth trajectory and future success. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Work with our leadership and managers to build upon and execute the long-term vision for all People and Culture, consistently improving our effectiveness and helping us achieve our overall business goals. - Be integral in helping us scale our current culture and talent pool by implementing people and culture technology & processes and providing in-house expertise that helps our people and business thrive. - Own the employee branding and EVP (Employee Value Proposition) initiatives such as managing our careers page, digital brand storytelling and more. - Build scalable learning and development, organisational development, and related programs that aid in growing our team's capabilities and drive employee retention. Our people naturally want to learn and push themselves. So we need to see actionable/demonstrable programs for our teams. - Partner with and provide coaching and feedback to our people managers, assisting in guiding professional development programs to help develop the team. Architects are generally not experts in people skills; we need someone to coach, guide and provide easy processes/solutions. - Be a driving force for achieving our position around diversity and inclusion. - Support the lgnite team in designing and rolling out individual and team performance plans, remuneration and reward frameworks, benefits, employee engagement, wellness, and retention initiatives. **About you** We look beyond how many years you've spent in a role and your educational background. Of course, the number of qualifications and certifications you've obtained is a testament to your hunger to learn. But, we like to think there's a lot more to your experience than this. When it comes to our People and Culture Manager, we want to know: - What people and culture leadership experiences you've had at similar-sized or larger organisations like ours - Industry experience as a whole - How you tell your story and how you will motivate/inspire and influence others - How you make things happen, work collaboratively and build trust as a sole practitioner We want to hear from diverse thinking people who: - Are highly curious. They believe in continuous improvement and lifelong learning - Have a high EQ, are calm and have a considered demeanour - Are OK with rolling up your sleeves and getting stuff done - Have good business acumen **About us** We are highly passionate and work hard to deliver for our clients, but you won't find any egos here At Ignite, we pride ourselves on being an open and communicative firm that puts our people and clients first. We're a social bunch with an active social club and regular team events. Our people are friendly & inclusive, respectful, fun and approachable. **Working with us** The way we work is based on: - Empathy & Curiosity - We listen. Good design starts with real-life human connections, intelligent questions, and the practice of listening. We empathise and remain bravely curious, no matter what. - Collective Innovation - Together is better. Meaningful collaboration unlocks innovation and new opportunities. Taking the journey together generates better overall design outcomes. - Smart Design Value - We deliver projects that are focused on the needs of our clients and end-users while being economically sound. Commercially viable projects are good design. As the **People and Culture Manager**, you will receive: - A vibrant and creative team environment that is centred around our people - you will enjoy our modern workspace with a family feel. - Ability to make a real impact, grow, and feel empowered to contribute to our cause - Competitive salary and flexibility in the way you work
