**Job Description**:
We are looking for a Tele Sales Executive to join our team in Mangere, Auckland. With ongoing training and development provided, you will be able to unleash your passion for sales with a goal to becoming a Business Development Manager in our award-winning sales team
As the Tele Sales Executive, you will be responsible for the following:
- Send quotations to customers and proactively follow up with them
- All customers in portfolio to be contacted within 3 months call cycle
- Call targets and KPI’s - Daily/Weekly/Monthly
- Effective market research
- Promote cross selling (air/sea/road/3PL warehousing) activities and create sales leads
- Action any Sales Leads (overseas network and internal) within 24 hours of receipt
- Generate new/additional business/Growth targets through various marketing channels
- Contact (via telephone) all accounts/companies that have been allocated for targeting
**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Good knowledge of sales process with proven success in Global Forwarding sales (preferred, but not essential)
- Good knowledge of Global Forwarding Operations & Markets i.e. competitors, carriers, clients & services
- Initiates & closes sales - Effectively sets goals and manages own workload, with limited supervision, in order to achieve targets; focusing on delivering results and persevering through any challenges that arise.
- Solution selling - Proactively works to clarify problems by gathering and considering all relevant information; generating workable solutions for customers, taking practical and organisational constraints into account
- Bring your initiative, flexibility and strong customer focus to this fun and fast-paced sales role
- Strong communicator, outgoing personality with a can-do attitude
