As Training and Development Facilitator & Designer, based at our Training and Development Centre in Mangere, you will prepare and coordinate our weekly project inductions and onsite training across all our 16 construction sites.

**What you will get involved in**:

- Lead and facilitate our comprehensive project inductions
- Collaborate with the team, using our training and development systems, processes and policies
- Assist in development of online training and development material, including Toolbox talks and delivering training to our multi-cultural workforce
- Provide support in the implementation of training and development initiatives
- Maintain training records using our online training tools and systems
- General admin, assisting team members and contributing to the monthly reporting

**What you will have**:

- Experience in presenting to diverse audiences, facilitating, coordinating and delivering training
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
- Tertiary qualified in Human Resources, Adult Learning, Teaching, Business or equivalent preferred, but not essential
- Experience in a training and development, including facilitation & design, ideally within the construction industry or similar
- Excellent people skills, including good written and verbal communication skills
- Confident public speaking and facilitating large groups
- Ability to establish and engage with diverse audiences, proficiency in other languages ideal ideally
- Strong administration and organisation skills
- Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office, including PowerPoint
- High energy and enthusiasm levels

**The Central Interceptor is a wastewater tunnel that will run between the Mangere Wastewater Treatment Plant and Grey Lynn. The 14.7 kilometers-long tunnel will run between 15 and 110 metres below ground. It will cross the Manukau Harbour at about 15 metres under the seabed. Along the route and will connect to the existing wastewater network, which will divert flows and overflows into the tunnel.**

All successful applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical, along with a drug and alcohol test
