**Job Description** Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

An opportunity has emerged for an operational people-focused **Manager**, for the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), who is passionate about enabling the entrepreneurial potential of students and staff at the University of Auckland.

As a member of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship’s leadership team, the Manager will be responsible for working with the Director to ensure the success of the CIE. The Manager will work with the CIE Director to develop strategic and operating plans for CIE and lead the execution of the agreed objectives. The CIE Manager leads the CIE Programme and Hub and Operations teams to execute these plans.

This is a permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week) position, with a salary range is $120,000 - $140,000 per annum depending on skills & experience. _Please note this role requires work outside of normal business hours, including evenings._

Operating at a mid-senior level, you will have solid commercial experience and knowledge of the Auckland region's major organisations and its entrepreneurial ecosystem. Alternatively, you have knowledge of, and practical experience in, another well-developed entrepreneurial ecosystem overseas.
