We are looking for a full time Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our technology team. Although our offices are in Tauranga and Wellington, we are a remote first company and engineers located anywhere in New Zealand are encouraged to apply. You will be a key member of our product development team, leading test automation efforts and quality assurance processes to ensure continuous improvement of our QA efforts across our ever expanding product offering.

**What you’ll do**
- Lead and collaborate with our engineering team to design and implement automated testing frameworks / tools
- Creation of automated tests at all levels of our technology stack (including AI and Data Engineering)
- Research industry best practices and champion continued adoption of our automated testing strategy
- Writing tests using a range of modern tools
- Participation in sprint planning, daily stand ups and retrospectives
- Knowledge sharing, upskilling, and contributing to the growth of your peers and other team members

**What you’ll need**
- At least 12 months experience mentoring / leading other QA / developer resources
- Strong test development skillset (dotNET, javascript)
- 5+ years experience with test automation using tools such as Playwright, Specflow, etc
- Experience testing Microsoft Azure / Amazon AWS solutions
- Performance testing experience highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Right to work in NZ

**Beneficial Skills & Experience**
- Data Engineering and AI test experience
- Experience in the legal sector
- Experience working in an Agile project delivery environment and daily releases
- Azure DevOps experience (pipeline development)
- Azure Infra-as-Code experience (ARM, bicep)
- Recognised test certification is valued (e.g. ISEB, ISTQB)
