Downer holds a long-term Asset Management and Facilities Management contract with the Department of Corrections and the Ministry of Justice. This involves the proactive management and delivery to the national portfolio of facilities including 15 prisons, 100 courts and 157 community correctional sites. This contract underpins the provision of availability of facilities to support core Government services.

We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Training Manager to lead the design and delivery of training programs focused on compliance, safety, and hard facilities management (FM). In this key role, you’ll be responsible for upskilling our contract delivery teams and ensuring we meet all legislative and technical standards.

You’ll act as the single point of contact for training across the business, working closely with Team Leaders, Site Managers, Property Managers, and Regional Operations Managers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong knowledge of compliance regulations, safety protocols, and hard FM practices, who also has a talent for engaging and developing others.

**Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills**
- Degree in education, communications or training related discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Strong expertise in adult learning, instructional design, and competency-based assessment methods.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering both Finance and/or Technical systems training.
- Skilled in creating eLearning content using rapid authoring tools and uploading to LMS platforms.
- Confident in delivering face-to-face and virtual training using tools like MS Teams.
