**About the Organisation**:
The New Zealand Intelligence Community (NZIC) is looking for an experienced and ambitious business improvement professional with the requisite skills and experience to help keep New Zealand and New Zealanders safe and secure. With exciting opportunities where curiosity and inquisitive minds are encouraged, the work you do with the NZIC will be like nothing you have ever done before.

**About the Role**:
Being part of the Business Improvement team you will work along side our People and Capability Directorate, seeking to enhance the capability of their function through strategic change and continuous improvement projects. The focus will be to ensure that the Directorate's processes and procedures are efficient and effective and that stakeholders can easily engage with them.

**About you**:
**In this role you will**:

- Be a skilled and competent business improvement professional with a track record of delivery in a number of environments;
- Understand the drivers of continuous business improvement and have a strong background and experience in analysing and delivering continuous improvement projects;
- Have the ability to lead cross functional teams and to coach and mentor others in the use of tools and approaches;
- Be a curious, self-motivated problem solver who is comfortable working collaboratively and able to deliver across a range of stakeholders and environments;
- Demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and interpersonal skills;
- Hold a recognized relevant qualification in Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen or an equivalent methodology
