We are seeking an experienced and passionate Caregiver for this Permanent position, to join the friendly team at Kerridge House (Resthome level care) located within the stunning grounds of Selwyn Retirement Village in Point Chevalier.
**This vacancy is a permanent role working the following FIXED PM shifts = 45hrs Fortnight**
**Wk 1: Mon 1600-2130, Thur, Fri, Sat & Sun 1500-2030 Wk 2: Mon 1600-2130, Fri, Sat & Sun 1500-2030 = 45 hrs. Fortnight**
There may also be opportunities to pick up additional shifts if you wish.
**_About the role_**
As a Caregiver you will be responsible for providing residents with safe care and daily support in accordance with individual care plans, ensuring their needs are met with patience, understanding, dignity and respect. Your tasks will cover personal hygiene care, assisting at mealtimes and cleaning duties.
**To be successful in this role you will need to have**:

- NZ caregiving experience ideally in aged care
- Eligibility to work in NZ permanently
- Ideally have Level 3 or 4 Health and Wellbeing qualification
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
- An outgoing personality with a positive attitude
- An empathetic and caring nature
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others within a team
