Exercise and Movement Coach

**Permanent, Full time role - Monday to Friday**:

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist to join the team at Selwyn Village. In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance with Physio treatment for residents as assigned by the Village Physiotherapist in accordance with the residents' lifestyle care plans, while enhancing the quality of life of our residents.
Selwyn Village sits on the banks of Waitemata Harbour with a rich history as one of the first retirement villages in New Zealand. The extensive facility is set in the central suburb of Point Chevalier, with mature gardens extending to the water's edge.
**Other Key Responsibilities**:

- Attend to residents daily needs, providing safe care and total support
- Perform transfers and assistance with mobility to residents ensuring safely and comfort at all times
- Providing assistance to residents with walking and supervision and development of exercise programmes for individuals and groups.
- Ensuring all documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner

**Key Requirements**:

- Relevant qualification in Exercise or Physiotherapy or similar
- Proven experience in a similar role
- A full drivers license is essential as you may be required to work at other sites.
- A ‘bright, friendly' and ‘caring' nature
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work collaboratively with others
- High standard of personal presentation
