**About the Role and Responsibilities**

Our Service Team is now looking for an additional experienced Technician to join their busy workshop based in Auckland. You will be working closely with 10 other factory trained technicians with experiences together of 50+ years. As their new Technician, you are to ensure;
- Vehicles are serviced, maintained, and repaired to Volkswagen and company standard
- Electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts and air conditioning servicing
- Repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles such as the use of electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on areas such as batteries, drive motor, auxiliary drive pack & control systems
- Maintain high standard of workmanship and avoid re-work
- Complete a time card for every working day showing individual times taken for each job
- Ensure all documentation is completed on an accurate and timely basis
- Check the general state of customers' vehicles and record any faults which will not be corrected by the repair order
- Carry out any other tasks as directed by supervisor/management

**To be successful in this role, you must**:

- Have a Level 4 Automotive Certificate or at least 3+ years of relevant experience
- Ideally be WOF certified - but not essential
- Possess strong mechanical skills and electronic diagnostic experience
- High level of computer and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Deliver a positive attitude and strong work ethic
