**Starting salary**: $80,571 - $94,084 negotiable + superannuation

Te tūnga | The role
The day-to-day business of an Economic (Design) Analyst varies between different teams but includes some of the following tasks:
- Designing methods or standards to for specific statistical outputs
- Leading technical projects that improve current processes or methodology
- Using problem solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues with statistical production systems
- Driving the continuous improvement of statistical processes used to deliver regular outputs
- Interacting with both internal and external stakeholders to communicate technical information
- Providing technical coaching and advice

- Your experience in process or method design for statistical outputs, or user experience research, or similar technical experience
- Your level of expertise in programming languages such as R and SAS.
- Your ability to communicate with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to generate positive outcomes.
- Your experience providing technical advice and technical coaching
- About your knowledge and experience, or willingness to learn about Te Tiriti, Tikanga, Te Reo and Te Ao Māori.
- How you've demonstrated, encouraged, or supported diversity and inclusion at or outside of work.
- How you've demonstrated these principles at or outside of work: customer centricity, leadership, putting people first, curiosity and openness to experience.
