**About the Role**
As a Counsellor at Safe Network, you will be supporting our Youth clients to make a positive change in their lives through:
- Conducting assessments and delivering interventions from a wider systemic and socio-ecological perspective.
- Using your clinical expertise to provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual and group work.
- Effectively managing own caseload and administrative requirements.
- Initiating and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders to best support the client.
- Bringing hope and making a sustainable difference to individuals, families and their communities
**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- A robust understanding of the key frameworks and clinical practices in the area of Youth sexual harm.
- Experience with assessment and intervention for concerning or harmful sexual behaviours and/or family violence.
- A current registration with New Zealand Association of Counsellors, New Zealand Christian Counsellors Association or ANZACATA and or a Registered Psychologist.
- The ability to form strong, client centred therapeutic alliances with clients and their families/whanau.
- Strong clinical report writing skills and an ability to conceptualise and formulate case intervention plans.
- A positive and non-judgmental attitude towards our clients.
