The Warehouse Group (TWG) consists of three iconic New Zealand retail brands: The Warehouse, Warehouse and Noel Leeming. We put our customers first and are on the hunt for a Returns Coordinator to join us on a fixed-term contract in our Hamilton/DC office - the position will be approx. 8 hours per week, starting late Oct - end January 2025.

The Returns Coordinator position is key in helping to deliver a seamless product returns experience for our customers and business In a snapshot, you’ll be processing product returns we receive from our customers, perform quality assessments, determining outcomes for customer returns and returning products to the supplier for further assessments.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Testing and inspecting returns from customers to send back to the suppliers for repair or replacement.
- Investigate and resolve customer enquiries, taking ownership through to resolution.
- Working together with our customer service team to communicate around the customer repairs and returns outcomes
- Running efficient case management and follow-up within agreed timeframes
- Keep up to date with processes and procedures to ensure accurate information is provided
- Sending third party returns back to the respective merchants.

The role is physically demanding which will see you moving and working hands-on to inspect and investigate a variety of products - anything from outdoor furniture to sporting equipment; this role requires someone with a good degree of strength that can keep up with our fast-paced environment.

**This is a fixed-term position, 8 hours per week starting late October until the end of January 2025. Our hours of operations is between Tuesday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm.**
- As it is our busiest time of the year, we are unable to approve any extended leave across this time including around Christmas and New Years (Please note, we do not work public holidays)._
- A great customer service attitude to deliver a great experience for our customers
- Self-motivated to work independently
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Great attention to detail and accuracy of work.
- Experience with the full MS Office suite is an added benefit.
- The ability to work with a sense of urgency and thrive working under pressure.
- Have the ability to work with a diverse array of people and build successful working relationships both internal and external customers.
- An ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability - thinking outside the box.
- A great attitude and work ethic.

**Some extra skills would be highly beneficial**
- A good grasp of the Consumers Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act.
- An understanding of both Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Working to tight timeframes and KPIs, you're a reliable and trusted team player with strong time management, punctuality and record of attendance.
